About Sarah:
Sarah has over a decades worth of experience in private vocal tuition and group theatre classes.
From 2010- 2012 Sarah was resident vocal teacher at Allans Billy Hyde Flemington.
Professional career:
An extremely versatile vocalist, Sarah has received the finest training from principal singers with Opera Australia(Sydney).She is recent graduate from the University of Ballarat Arts Academy (Music Theatre).Whilst at Ballarat she performed in various shows including The Life (Sonia), Urinetown (Penny Pennywise) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ensemble). Simultaneously Sarah has been professionally singing for over a decade in various cover bands, Jazz bands and show bands throughout NSW and VIC. In 1999 she toured the US performing at Disneyland, LA, the Lincoln Center New York and various Jazz clubs in New Orleans. Whilst there Sarah also received tuition from some of the biggest names in Jazz including Winton Marsalis, Matt Harris and Michelle Weir. Sarah has performed at various community events over the years a highlight was singing the National Anthem at the Australia V’s Fiji International Rugby match in 1996 in front of 40000 fans. Sarah has a decades worth of experience in cover bands from NSW and VIC. In 2012 she fronted, Melbourne corporate band ‘Electrik’ working with the cream of Melbourne’s best Musicians, including Tim Rosewarne (Chocolate Starfish ) and Piet Collins (The Sharp).
In 2001, Sarah was a featured artist on the Australian(Newcastle) Cast recording of Ned Kelly The Musical. In 2006 Sarah recorded the pop release ‘ Never Came Today’ produced by Bradley Duncan Productions, Newcastle NSW. In 2007 Sarah was a featured artist on the Australian Cast recording of I Love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change’ produced by Newcastle Theatre Company. In 2011 , Sarah recorded a pop/soul Demo, covering Jennifer Hudson’s ‘I Love You I Do’ from the Motion Picture DreamGirls, produced by Michael Gonthier at Shredd Studios. Sarah has recently collaborated with the Progressive Meal Band Eye Fear on the fourth Album released in January 2012 on the track ‘Reborn’ at their personal Studio, produced by Con Papazoglou. Sarah completed her first EP, which is a collection of music theatre and pop charts to be produced by Shredd Studios.
